Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that involves using hypnosis to induce a focused and relaxed state of consciousness, often referred to as a trance. During this altered state of awareness, I can guide you through various suggestions, visualizations, and verbal cues to help you achieve specific therapeutic goals or address various issues.

 

Contrary to common misconceptions, individuals under hypnosis are not under the control of the hypnotherapist and cannot be made to do anything against their will or values. They remain fully aware and have the power to reject suggestions that don't align with their beliefs.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming

NLP involves the process of empowering, enabling, and educating individuals to gain a deeper understanding of how their brain (neuro) functions in conjunction with the language they employ (linguistic), and how this interplay can exert an influence on their personal history, present circumstances, and future endeavors (programming).

In simple terms, NLP asserts that change is attainable by nurturing a desire for transformation and an ability to acquire new ways of living—both internally, with one's thoughts, and externally, in interactions with others.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is a highly effective form of therapy that helps individuals identify and change negative patterns of thinking and behavior.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing

EMDR was initially designed to treat trauma and PTSD, gaining approval from organizations like NICE and WHO. However, it's versatile, aiding issues from anxiety, depression, and addiction to personality disorders. This unique therapy employs eye movement and other techniques to reprocess distressing memories, making it a powerful tool across various mental health challenges.

Active Listening 

If you need someone to talk to and at the same time help you view your present life circumstance's in a better way for you then I can provide a safe and confidential environment for you to address any issues your would like to address.  The benefits of communicating with an independent person rather than friends or family can be transforming. Offering an unbiased, non judgemental environment for you to be heard.
